Leadership
Karim Badr – Managing Director
A seasoned ironmaking and steel industry professional with nearly three decades of experience spanning plant operations, applied research, technology development, and global business leadership.
He began his career in Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) operations before contributing to the EU-funded ULCOS program, one of the most influential global initiatives focused on redefining sustainable steelmaking pathways.
Karim currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) and chairs its youngest chapter in the MENA region.
